Who we are

IDASS was established in 1985, by Ida Moore, wife of John Moore.

John Moore OBE, a three time Olympian athlete who stayed involved in sport after competing, working for international sports companies.

When an opportunity came, John supported Ida in establishing Idass.

As an elite athlete John had a resting heart rate of 32 beats per minute and with all three of his children making national squads and Mark also competing in the Olympics, there was a pedigree to follow. John had been involved with the IOC (International Olympic Committee) dealing with blood doping and sports performance. So IDASS moved to supply fitness testing and measuring equipment. Both John and Paul Moore had experience with Professor P.O. Astrand in Sweden and a good relationship was set up with Monark cycles.

IDASS has evolved with the changing markets and now supply a wide range of flooring and mat products. Some items are made here in the UK and also we have a selection of imported products.
